Hi Brandi, I read the article. I totally agree that happiness is partly genetic and partly attitude (I try to convince my prone-to-unhappiness kids of this every day.) Money definitely doesn't buy happiness. I learned that when I met my extremely rich, extremely unhappy future mother-in-law (where the unhappy genes came from I think.)
I regularly pass up on wholesale jobs that would make me more money, but only stress me out. Fewer sales and I'm happier. That sure goes against everything I was taught in business school in the greedy 80s!
The creativity buzz they referred to is my whole reason for doing Etsy - no wonder people are so nice on Etsy - it's a blissed-out bunch of people!
AND the friends/happiness connection also ties into Etsy. Apparently Etsy should be sold in pill form!
this is my attempt at doing something that resembles a blog. not certain how long it will last, but heck, i'll give it a shot! i create stuff. right now it's earrings and photo albums. i am also a photographer, but mostly i'm a mommy and a wife. i have been married for going on three years now and we have a 6 month old little boy who keeps me up to my eyeballs in busy-ness.
